J.D. Pincus, Ph.D. presents:

Emotions Matter!

Embrace Your "Agile Brain" and Identify Your Motivational Fingerprint to Pursue the Life You Want

This webinar is approved for .75 CC and .50 RD CCEU's

Over the past few decades, in study after study, emotional forces have been shown to massively outweigh human rationality in determining our actual choices and actions. This insight is reshaping both science and industry as its power is harnessed for for both enhanced wellbeing and commercial ends. Understanding this dynamic can enable coaches to better serve our clients, our coaching practices and our personal lives.

Speaker J.D. Pincus Ph.D., author of the forthcoming book The Emotionally Agile Brain: Mastering the 12 Emotional Needs that Drive Us (Rowman & Littlefield), joins us this month to explain the first principles underlying all human motivation. This theory of everything poses two fundamental questions:

⭐“Where in your business and/or life do you wish to make a change?”
⭐“What kind of change do you wish to make?”

The session will include an opportunity to experience the speaker's newly developed 3-minute online measurement tool that will enable attendees to clearly identify key emotional needs and get started on a path to deep emotional fulfillment.

Primary learning objectives/expected outcomes for the program:

    a. The primacy of emotions in determining decisions and action, and why this matters for coaching
    b. Brief introduction to the science of emotions (affective neuroscience) for coaches
    c. How coaches can better understand client emotional needs
    d. How coaches can use emotional needs to produce better results for individuals
    e. How organizational/executive coaches can produce better results for employee well-being and engagement, leadership effectiveness, and culture health.
