Join our MCCs, Dr. Sheila M. Boysen, Jackie Sloane, and Susan Spritz Myers, for the last Core Competency call of the season. Since last fall, we have covered all the updated ICF Core Competencies, and on Wednesday, June 9th, , we will host the MCCs for a panel discussion.
The panel discussion will cover these topics:

- Why are the core competencies important?
- How do we embrace them going forward?
- Q&A

Susan Spritz Myers
Susan’s coaching practice specializes in leadership development and supports clients to build greater collaboration and productivity. The results yield a greater impact at the individual, team and organizational level. Susan works with leaders and teams across industries. She connects unspoken dots for clients to leverage their strengths, uncover blind spots and manage weaknesses. Susan uses a variety of assessment tools and has an ideal tool to support each client’s needs. Susan is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and Kolbe Master Certified Team Consultant. Shelia Boysen Rotelli
With more than 15 years of leadership and management experience in the business and educational arenas, Sheila is a skilled consultant, business strategist, training specialist, professional coach, educator, curriculum designer, and speaker. Having spent a good portion of her early adulthood working in the human resources arena for both small and large as well as private and public organizations, she learned what makes candidates shine and what hiring managers are looking for.Sheila has operated as a small business owner for over a decade. After transitioning from the business sector early in her career, she transitioned smoothly into the world of education and coaching. For three years Sheila served as the Associate Director of the University of Chicago Career Center where she supported students and alumni in determining and designing their ideal careers.
For ten years she worked simultaneously in educational leadership while being an active consultant, coach and training specialist working in a variety of industries including but not limited to marketing, technology, public relations, education, hospitality, gaming, retail, non-profit, healthcare, as well as with dozens of entrepreneurs running their own show.
After over 10 years of coaching, Sheila found that most of her clients were coming to her for career guidance. In 2012, she specifically compiled all of her expertise in this area, along with her knowledge of Human Resources practices to launch Professional Success Career Coaching. Professional Success is committed to helping individuals make bold and smart career moves that fit their personality, work style, and financial needs.
Sheila received her Master Coach Certification (MCC) from the International Coach Federation and received her coach training from The University of Texas. She earned a BS in marketing, an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Coaching from Benedictine University.
Jackie Sloane
Jackie Sloane, MCC, specializes in enhancing the ability to achieve significant results and greater well-being through how clients engage others, communicate, and cultivate relationships. She has over 25 years’ experience in executive coaching, leadership development, communication, and engagement consulting. The Generative Leadership Communication program she developed has been credited with unleashing creativity and innovation, and reducing production time at client organizations. She has served professionals, leaders, teams and groups at privately-held, nonprofit, public sector and Fortune 300 firms in a variety of industries, including academia, consumer products, financial, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, pharmaceutical, publishing, retail, telecommunications, and utilities. She has provided leadership and professional development programs and created and delivered leadership retreats, culture change, engagement consulting for organizations such as Abbott, Accenture, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Comcast, Deloitte, Exelon, Grant Thornton, Hollister, International Truck and Engine, Legal Marketing Association, PepsiCo, Purdue University Northwest and others. She is a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago, holds two coach certifications, including Certified Ontological Coach and Master Certified Coach, has a Certificate in the Executive Team Alignment Process and is certified by the Center for Creative Leadership to facilitate use of the Center’s assessment tools. She has completed many coaching, leadership and communication programs. She is a mentor for Chicago Innovation.
